π§ COMING SOON π§
We are currently in negotiations with venues to secure a date for this event soon.Until then take full advantage of the opportunities at the Birmingham and Auburn talent shows that are already in the works. It is worth the drive to be connected.

An associate will assess your current skill level and develop a structured, week-by-week plan designed to prepare you for the session. This process includes evaluating your abilities, identifying the sound youβre aiming to achieve, and reviewing your previous work. We do this by analyzing reference tracks you love alongside recordings youβve created. In essence, this is a full past, present, and future evaluationβunderstanding where youβve come from, where you are now, and where youβre going. This initial evaluation typically lasts 1 to 3 hours.

Your application is reviewed by our board to determine overall fit and readiness. If your application is not approved, an associate will provide clear, actionable steps to help you improve and strengthen your position for future consideration. If approved, your session will be officially scheduled, and an associate will guide you through a structured roadmap designed to prepare you for a professional recording experience with a Grammy Award-winning producer, positioning you for high-level production and industry alignment.

Plans in ActionThis is where everything becomes realβand where most artists would normally struggle.Youβre working toward a session with a Grammy Award-winning producer who is operating at the highest level, often traveling and managing multiple projects. On the other side, most artists have never experienced that level of production.Without structure, this gap creates confusion, wasted time, and missed opportunitiesβwhich is why many artists never get access in the first place.Thatβs where we step in.Through our evaluation process and guided preparation, your associate becomes the bridge between both worldsβtranslating expectations, refining your material, and preparing you to operate at a professional standard. While plans are in action, every detail is aligned:
Your sound. Your direction. Your session readiness. At the same time, the producer receives a prepared, focused artistβready to execute, not figure things out.The result is a streamlined, stress-free process that saves both sides time, money, and unnecessary frustrationβcreating the best possible environment for real production to happen.

Get Ready β Practice, Practice, PracticeThis is where preparation becomes discipline. With your plan in place, your focus shifts to execution. Youβll spend this phase refining your material, strengthening your performance, and building the confidence needed to operate in a professional studio environment.Every rehearsal, every adjustment, and every repetition is intentionalβdesigned to eliminate uncertainty and maximize your time when it matters most.By the time you step into the session, youβre not guessingβyouβre ready.

Meeting LarryThen the time comesβyou arrive for your session. From the outside, it feels simple. Just a house. No flashing signs. No pressure. You walk up, not fully knowing what to expect. Then you meet Larry Mitchell.Immediately, the energy shifts.A Grammy Award-winning producer, a world travelerβbut more than that, one of the most genuine and easygoing people youβll ever meet. Thereβs no ego, no intimidation. Just presence, conversation, and a calm confidence that puts you at ease right away.As you step inside, youβre welcomed like family. You may meet his mother, exchange a few words, and before you realize it, the entire atmosphere changes. What started as a βsessionβ no longer feels like one.It feels natural. Comfortable. Real. The pressure disappears. The nerves fade. For a moment, you forget why you even came. And thatβs exactly what prepares you for whatβs next.

Entering a SessionThen comes the moment youβve been preparing for. After weeks of focused practice and guided development, you step into the studio of Grammy Award-winning producer and guitarist Larry Mitchell. This isnβt New York. It isnβt Los Angeles. It isnβt Nashville.Itβs ALL OF THEM.Larry has produced people all over the world. His latest tour and production was in Australia, heβs going to be in Paris in the end of May and he has things in the studio from all over the world. In about 1 million guitarist. LOLLarryβs Chocolate Room Studio reflects a lifetime of global experienceβfilled with instruments, textures, and artifacts collected from around the world. The environment itself sets a tone: creative, intentional, and world-class.And then you see it.The Grammy Awardβalongside numerous other accoladesβsitting as a reminder of the level youβve stepped into. This is not a simulation.
This is not a practice run. This is a real session, in a real studio, with a proven, award-winning producer. And youβre ready for it.
WELCOME TO THE CHOCOLATE ROOM

PRODUCER LARRY MITCHELL
